From the Desk of Administrator …

Week of March 9, 2015

Dear Pen Bay Christian School Family,

Our March teacher of the month is Mrs. Stanclift. Mrs. Stanclift is a valued member of our staff for many reasons. As our Librarian, she has provided media support, research help, and a wonderful knowledge of literature to our students. Each week we delight in viewing the creations of her art students.

Mrs. Stanclift has also filled another more personal role at our school. There are times during the week that I seek out prayer partners. Because our teachers are in the classroom other members of our staff have filled this need. I started doing this last year. I would feel overwhelmed at times and would walk down for a “little visit with Judy!” Mrs.Terrio is now just a phone call or email away as are other School Board members but Mrs. Lappin, Mrs. Shaw, and Mrs. Stanclift are often asked to be one of my prayer partners. Isn’t wonderful that when 2 or 3 are gathered in the name of Jesus that He promises to be in our midst!! As a public school teacher this wasn’t as easily accommodated and I would also wish at times that I could pray with my students. One thing I did do regularly was before or after school hours I would “walk my room” and pray over each student desk. (Phil. 4:6).

Pen Bay Christian School would like to say a very BIG thank you to Littlefield Memorial Baptist Church. Our school began and is still a mission of this church. Throughout its history spanning many decades this church has supported our school in so many ways. Our School Board is drawn from members of this church and during the month of March the church highlights the ministry of PBCS!!  Thank you, Littlefield Memorial Baptist Church!

In Him and for Him,

Cynthia Wallace
