Our History
Pen Bay Christian School was founded in 1976 as a ministry of Littlefield Memorial Baptist Church. What began with just seven preschoolers has grown into a school serving students from Kindergarten through 12th grade.
A Ministry That Has Grown
1976 — A Beginning
Littlefield Christian Nursery School opened with seven preschoolers.
1978 — Growing
Two preschool sessions serve 16 children each.
1981 — Kindergarten Begins
The first kindergarten class is formed, with grades 1–3 added in the following years.
1990s — A New Home
Littlefield Memorial Baptist Church voted to construct the Henderson Memorial Wing to house the growing school.
1996 — Pen Bay Christian School
The Henderson Memorial Wing was completed in November, and the school became Pen Bay Christian School.
Today – Continuing the Mission
PBCS provides education from kindergarten through 12th grade.
