Our Theme for the Year
Our theme for the 2026–2027 school year reminds us that our hope is not dependent on our circumstances. When life feels uncertain, we can remain firmly anchored in Christ and trust in His faithfulness.
Our Hope Is in Christ
Our hope is not found in our circumstances, abilities, or possessions. It is found in God Himself and in His unfailing promises.
Our Hope Keeps Us Steady
When life brings fear, worry, or discouragement, God’s Word gives us something firm to hold onto. We can trust Him even when we cannot see what lies ahead.
Our Hope Is Secure
Whatever today may bring, we can trust that God is faithful. Because our hope is anchored in Him, we can face each season with confidence and peace.
Living Out Our Theme
Throughout the 2026–2027 school year, we will be reminded to place our hope in Christ, trust His promises, and remain firmly anchored in Him through every season. As a school community, we want our faith to shape the way we learn, serve, encourage one another, and respond to the challenges we face.

What Does It Mean to Be Anchored in Hope?
An anchor is designed to keep a ship from drifting when the winds are strong and the waves are rough. In much the same way, God gives us hope to keep our souls steady when life feels uncertain. Our circumstances may change, and there may be times when we don’t understand what God is doing, but our hope in Him does not have to change. Biblical hope is not simply wishing that things will get better; it is a confident trust that God is faithful and that His promises can be trusted.
When we are anchored in Christ, we can face difficult days without being carried away by fear, worry, or discouragement. The anchor of our hope is not found in our circumstances, our abilities, or the people around us—it is found in God Himself. Just as an anchor holds a ship securely beneath the surface, our faith in God’s character and promises can hold us steady even when the storms of life are all around us. Whatever today may bring, we can rest in the assurance that God is faithful. We can remain anchored in hope, knowing that our souls are secure in Him.
