Greetings all,
As this year wraps up with many exciting activities, we have already begun planning for next year. The growth of Pen Bay Christian School in the past few years has been so evident with the addition of more classes, teachers, and resources. We are very excited to have begun interviewing some highly qualified and experienced teachers to fill in the missing pieces from this year. We look forward to adding even more educational choices for the middle and high school and more opportunities for elementary enrichment. Our desire is to continue to offer a more quality education while considering the needs of our families and teachers.
To be able to continue to provide a quality education, and with the increase in operating costs, it is necessary for a slight tuition increase.
Tuition for 2025-2026 will be $4,600 per student. (Multi-student family discounts are still provided as well as the 5% discount if paid in full before August 1st)
The curriculum/registration fee is $400 through May 31st. After May 31st the fee is $450.
High School sciences will have a $50 lab fee due with first payment.
With this increase, tuition still remains far below the actual cost for the education of each student. PBCS relies on donations and fundraising to make up the difference in operating costs. The PBA also does so much in terms of field trips, classroom needs, teacher appreciation and support, etc.
We understand that tuition payments are more difficult for some families and we will continue to offer financial aid as we are able. This year the Lord provided twice as much financial aid money as last year. (All monies provided for financial aid is gifted by generous donors and does not come from the tuition of other students.) Please do not let a tuition increase be a hindrance to your child’s Christian education. The Lord will continue to provide for the families at His school.
Re-enrollement will begin Monday April 7 for returning and Pre-K students. Open enrollment for all students, returning and new, will begin Monday April 14th. Re-enrollement applications are found on the school website. The curriculum/registration fee is due with the application.
